Organic Cotton Fabric is cotton fabric that is woven or knit from yarns that have been made of cotton grown without the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals, on soil which is certified free from harmful chemicals.

Organic cotton is certified by bodies such as GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards), and is usually dyed or printed with dyes that are AZO-free, and do not contain harmful substances.
Organic cotton is grown throughout the world, and most of it is grown in India, Egypt, South America, and even here in the US.

Apparel made from Organic fabric is now considered to be safer for human use, and does not leech harmful carcinogens into the skin, as well as being safer for the planet, as it does not release harmful substances upon disposal.

Today organic cotton fabric and clothing is available in plaids, stripes, prints, solid colors, in both, knits and wovens.
